David Ozburn is the owner of Ozburn Law Firm, where he helps clients with a wide range of problems and challenges. At an early age, David learned from his father to help people through the practice of law. “Many people come to see me at incredibly stressful moments in their lives – times when they have much at stake. I’m happy to be able to help them when they need it most.” David can help with:
• Buying a home
• Drafting a will and an estate plan
• Obtaining zoning changes or special use permits
• Starting or selling a business
• Dealing with an injury caused by someone else, or
• Getting a divorce

Involvement in Our Community
Born and raised in Covington, David still calls the town home along with his wife and three young daughters. When not assisting clients, he enjoys learning local history, watching college football, being outdoors and working in the community. He’s also active with his church and has traveled to Kazakhstan twice to participate in mission trips. In addition, David is extremely involved in the community:

Experience
David has extensive experience helping those in his community through the practice of law. As County Attorney for Jasper County, he deals with a variety of legal issues. David has also handled hundreds of real estate closings, argued for clients in court hundreds of times, and can represent clients through a variety of challenges. He has served as an instructor at Georgia College & State University’s paralegal program and is licensed to practice before all Georgia Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court. Prior to joining the firm, David was an associate with Martin Snow, LLP in Macon, Georgia. He received his Bachelor of Science in Public Policy from the Georgia Institute of Technology and earned his Juris Doctorate from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University.

David is active in several legal organizations including the State Bar of Georgia, the Newton County Bar Association, and the Real Property and General Practice sections of the State Bar.
